Digital control room at Tirunelveli
CHENNAI: Arasu Cable Corporation is setting up its digital control room at Tirunelveli to provide digital feeds easily to multi-system operators and local cable operators in Madurai and other southern districts, the government said on Wednesday.
An official release stated that if the control room was established at Madurai, it would not be technically feasible to provide the digital feeds to the southernmost places of Kanyakumari district.
The Tirunelveli digital control room would start functioning by August 15, the release added. — Special Correspondent
