Further relaxation in buying cement
CHENNAI: The State government on Wednesday announced further relaxation in buying of cement.
An official release said till recently people were allowed to buy 25 bags of cement without producing any document.
Hereafter they could buy 50 bags.
Those who were in need of 100 cement bags could submit an application to Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation’s godowns along with the ration card. They could buy cement bags at concessional rates. The residents need not submit plan for the construction work, the release added. — Special Correspondent
