Nalini case: no more adjournment for State

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: Justice S. Nagamuthu of the Madras High Court on Wednesday refused to grant further adjournment for the State government to file its counter to Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy’s petition seeking to implead himself in the petition by S. Nalini, a life convict in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.

When the matter came up, the government advocate sought two more weeks to file the counter to Dr. Swamy’s petition. At this, the Judge said he had already granted time and adjourned the matter to July 11.
