Man kills wife, commits suicide

NEW DELHI: A 28-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife and hanged himself in his house at Haiderpur in North-West Delhi on Tuesday night.

The incident came to light on Wednesday morning when the bodies of Dhiraj, who ran a cold drinks agency, and his 24-year-old wife Priya were found in their house by her relatives. Police enquiries revealed that they were married about six months ago. Circumstantial evidence suggested that Dhiraj strangled his wife and then hanged himself.

The Shalimar Bagh police have registered a murder case.
