KADAPA: Congress leaders advised Telugu Desam Party district president S. Raghurami Reddy to set his house in order and refrain from preaching morals to other parties. The TDP was in doldrums as senior leaders were leaving it expressing their discontent over the style of functioning of its president N. Chandrababu Naidu, Congress MLC Shaik Hussain and District Congress Committee president A. Amarnath Reddy alleged at a press conference. TDP leaders should check desertion of their party leaders before giving sermons to the Congress, they asserted. Kadapa district was developing on all fronts ever since Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy took over the reigns, but the TDP leaders were not realising it, they alleged. They advised Mr. Raghurami Reddy to recall the conditions in the district before 2004 and compare it with the present scenario. Baseless criticism of TDP would spell doom on the TDP, they warned and urged Mr. Reddy to extend cooperation in developing the district, rather than criticise the government on trivial issues.
