Madurai: American College HSS (Madurai) entered the semifinals of the super-senior section in the 29th annual PSM Mariappa Nadar Memorial Trophy state-level inter-school volleyball tournament here.

The results (quarterfinals): St. Mary’s HSS (Dindigul) bt PKN HSS (Thirumangalam) 25-14, 25-2; American College defeated Virudhunagar Hindu Nadar HSS (Madurai) 26-24, 22-25, 25-21; Nadar HSS (Rajapalayam) bt GHSS (Alanganallur) 25-12, 25-5; Khaja Mian HSS (Tiruchi) bt TVS HSS 25-8, 25-6.
