Grants worth 61 lakh sanctioned

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Kalyan Samiti has approved grants amounting to Rs.61 lakh for three non-government organisations and an individual.

Proposals relating to the grants were approved at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Thursday.

While Society for Development Alternatives and Umak Centre for Culture and Sangeetka have been granted monetary help for construction of their buildings, senior journalist A. R. Wig will get financial help for surgery.
