Foundation stone for stadium laid

NEW DELHI: The foundation stone of the Master Prithvi Nath Basketball Stadium was laid by senior BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra at Ajmal Khan Park here on Thursday.

Delhi Mayor Arti Mehra, MCD House leader Subhash Arya and MCD Standing Committee chairman Vijender Gupta were among those present at the function.

The stadium will be constructed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi within 13 months at a cost of Rs.6 crore.
