Some relief with truckers’ strike

The huge pall of dust, raked-up by moving trucks in their wake, has been a constant source of irritation and scourge for commuters and residents near Uppal, Habsiguda, L.B. Nagar and Sarrornagar. In fact, at dusk, the Saroornagar-Dilsukhnagar stretch and Uppal cross roads gets cloaked in swathes of dust cloud. Ever since the truckers’ strike, residents and frequent road users have heaved a sigh of relief. No matter if the supply of essential commodities gets delayed, at least there is no constant itching and drying-up of eyes. This is a common sentiment among road users who brave the dust on a daily basis. At least somebody is not complaining about the strike.
