Roses for traffic violators

Traffic police are back in news, albeit for all good reasons. The police sprang a surprise recently by giving gifts and roses to violators.

Instead of receiving challans for violating rules, vehicle owners got gifts and roses from the traffic police leaving them in wonderment. The occasion was ‘traffic rule violation free day’ observed on the first day of every month.

Motorcyclists were also greeted with vinyl boards displaying slogans on traffic rules. The gesture indeed came as a surprise for motorists.
