Bangalore: Gold ornaments valued at over Rs. 15 lakh were reportedly taken away from a house in Fraser Town police limits recently. According to the police, Asma Imtiaz, a resident of M.M. Road, has lodged a complaint stating that she had put the ornaments in a box and kept the box in the bedroom. The police said the complaint had checked the box a few weeks ago. However, when she opened it a couple of days ago, she found the ornaments missing. BurglaryA gang of persons reportedly took away silver ornaments and cash from the Shakthi Ganapathi temple situated on Babusabpalya Road in Hennur police limits on Wednesday. The police said the gang entered the temple by breaking open the window panels. AccidentA 28-year-old person died on the spot when a car rammed his motorcycle on Thanisandra Main Road on Wednesday. The victim, Perumal, a daily wage worker, was returning home from work when the accident occurred. Further investigation is on. Chain snatchedA motorcycle-borne man made away with a gold chain of a woman in Mahalakshmi Layout on Thursday. The police said that Sharada was on her way to school to pay fee when the incident took place.
