Fire stations

BANGALORE: To meet the increasing safety needs of small towns and cities, the State Government has proposed to establish Fire and Emergency Services in 69 taluk headquarters in the State in the next four years. Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Home Minster V.S. Acharya said the Government has urged the Centre to grant funds to establish Fire and Emergency Services stations in taluk headquarters. Of the 176 taluks in the State, fire stations have been established in 107 taluks.
