Skill development training inaugurated

Tutciorin: Minister for Social Welfare P. Geetha Jeevan inaugurated a 55-day skill development training for adolescent girls organised by the district administration under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) project, here on Friday.
Official sources said that a total of 30 adolescent girls aged between 15 and 18 years would be given training on entrepreneurship development in the first phase.
Resource persons would explain to them the procedures that needed to be followed for setting up an enterprise and the techniques to give value-addition to their produces.
Collector (in-charge) P. Anbarasu, Municipal Chairperson Kasturi Thangam and Project Officer of ICDS S. Panneervelu were present.
