PUDUCHERRY: General Secretary of the dissolved State-level committee of Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC) R.L. Venkataraman on Friday said the dissolution of the committee was not justified and he would seek judicial remedy. Addressing a press conference, he said Member of Legislative Assembly (PMC) K. Lakshminarayanan had dissolved the committee recently. A meeting of the general body should have been convened and an interim committee formed before the dissolution of the State-level committee, which was formed in 2006, he said. “The State-level committee is still functioning and we will move the court against the dissolution. We are not satisfied with the steering committee,” he said.
