Takes oath

NEW DELHI: R. C. Singh, a newly elected member of the Rajya Sabha from West Bengal, on Friday took the oath before Chairman M. Hamid Ansari.

Mr. Singh, sponsored by the Communist Party of India, was elected to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Barun Mukherjee.
