NEW DELHI: Trials to select outstanding sportspersons for the Indian Air Force (IAF) will be conducted shortly by the Air Force Sports Control Board. Selection will be held in aquatics, basketball, boxing, cycle polo, football, gymnastics, hockey, cross country/ marathon, tennis, weightlifting, wrestling etc. Unmarried and outstanding sportsmen with higher secondary qualification, who have represented the country in international junior meets, or attained up to fifth place in the National junior championships, inter-University championships or National School Games will be considered for selection. Interested athletes meeting the eligibility criteria and born between May 1, 1987 and September 30, 1991, may contact Sqn. Ldr.
