King cobra caught

SIRSI: A 12-foot king cobra was caught by Marshal of Karwar in the powerhouse of the Kadra Dam near Karwar on Thursday. Officials informed Mr. Marshal immediately after they noticed the snake in the powerhouse.

The King Cobra was handed over to forest official Mahesh Shiroor, who said that he would release it in the jungles of Kadra or Anashi in Dandeli taluk of Uttara Kannada.
