PKV day celebrations
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary Veliyam Bhargavan has called upon party cadres to observe the death anniversary of P. K. Vasudevan Nair on July 12 with appropriate programmes.
In a statement here on Friday, Mr. Bhargavan described the late CPI leader as a relentless campaigner against communal forces and the anti-people policies of the ruling classes and a brilliant parliamentarian.
The Communist veteran’s memory would be a constant source of inspiration for all those engaged in people’s struggles in the country, the CPI State secretary said. —Special Correspondent
