Plus One: changes can be made till 5 p.m. today

Special Correspondent

Thiruvananthapuram: The students will be allowed time till 5 p.m. on Saturday to go through the first provisional allotment list for Plus One admission under the single-window system on the web site www.hscap.kerala.gov.in.

The Director of Higher Secondary Education asked the students on Friday to make use of the opportunity to thoroughly examine the information furnished by them once more and make changes or corrections wherever necessary.

All information other than the options could be changed or corrected.

If the student was likely to get admission, the word ‘congratulation’ would appear in the list. It did not mean that the student had received admission but that he was likely to get admission.

Through this exercise it would be possible to find out whether the student was going to get admission in the school in which he was eligible to get admission and correct any irregularity. The final allotment list would be published on July 9.

Those who did not get allotment in the first list were likely to be accommodated in the second allotment which would be done on July 15. All the students who get allotment in the first list were not likely to join.

Second allotment

Such vacancies would also be filled during the second allotment.

The students who did not get the option of their choice in the first list might get it in the second list.

Similarly, the students who did not get any allotment at all in the first list were likely to find a place in the second.

For instance, if a student got only the fifth option in the first list, he was likely to get options one to four in the second.

Detailed directions were available on the web sites www.dhsekerala.gov.in and www.itschool.gov.in.
