Juvenile escapes

VILLUPURAM: A juvenile escaped from police custody while being escorted from Pudukottai to Egmore on Thursday night.

The police said he was involved in in connection with a theft case in Avadi and kept at Pudukottai.

He escaped while he was being taken to the Egmore court by bus en route at Vikkiravandi.
