According to NACO, the train has seven coaches equipped with educative material on HIV and AIDS, interactive touch screens and three-dimensional models. The train also has counselling cabins. The train will be in Mysore for two days, a press release said. A meeting to prepare for the arrival of the train was held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner here on Thursday. The express was flagged off on the occasion of World AIDS Day on December 1, 2007 by United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi. Folk performers will be travelling in the train, and they will perform in surrounding villages to educate people about the disease. Four Red Ribbon Express trains have been launched to cover around 100 destinations in a span of six months.
