Training course for pharma graduates

HYDERABAD: Hitech Institute of Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences is conducting a short-term industry-oriented course for pharma graduates and science post-graduates from July 12 at the NATCO House. The nine-week course, supported by NATCO Pharma Ltd, would be followed by intensive practical training in pharma industry.

M. Venkata Reddy, former director of Drugs Control Administration and the course director, said the idea is to create professional awareness and bridge the gap between academic and industrial environments.

Eminent personalities from the industry like M. Venkateshwarlu, K.V. Jogi, P.V. Appaji, M. Sivakumaran, V. Satyanaryana, S.V.N. Raju and others will share their valuable experiences. The focus of the lectures will be on USFDA regulations, international laws, DMF and ANDA submissions, IPR, patents, pre-clinical studies, SOPs, industrial safety and all matters related to drug discovery to commercialisation and drug approvals.
