School principal held

TAMBARAM: The principal of a matriculation school who allegedly caned a boy on Thursday evening was arrested and later released on bail.

The Selaiyur police said Rajendran, principal of S.R.N. Matriculation School, was taken into custody following a complaint from Santharaman, father of the boy Gangadharan .

The principal was released after he received a Station Bail on Friday evening.
