CHENNAI: Train services to South Eastern Railway are yet to become normal owing to the breaches and water-logging in the Kharagpur division. The Chennai Central-Coromandel Express has been cancelled in both directions. These trains have been fully cancelled: the Chennai Central-Howrah Coromandel Express from July 6 to 12 and from July 5 to 11 in the return direction; the Shalimar-Nagercoil Weekly Express scheduled to leave Katpadi on July 11; the Nagercoil-Shalimar Weekly Express scheduled to leave Nagercoil on July 6; the Trivandrum-Shalimar Bi-weekly Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central on June 4, 6 and 11 and on July 3, 8 and 10 in the return direction; the Howrah-Kanniyakumari Weekly Express scheduled to leave Egmore on July 8, and on July 5 in the return direction; the Howrah-Tiruchi Bi-weekly Express scheduled to leave Egmore on July 7 and 11 and on July 4 and 8 in the return direction; the Guwahati-Bangalore Tri-weekly Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central from July 8 to 10 and on July 5, 10 and 11 in the return direction; the Trivandrum-Guwahati Weekly Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central on July 7, and on July 4 and 11 in the return direction; the Chennai Egmore-Dibrugarh Town Weekly Express scheduled to leave Egmore on July 10 and on July 9 in the return direction; the Yesvantpur-Muzaffarpur Weekly Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central on July 10, and on July 9 in the return direction; the Chennai Egmore-Guwahati Weekly Express scheduled to leave Egmore on July 7 and on July 6 and 13 in the return direction; the Ernakulam-Guwahati Weekly Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central on July 9 and on July 6 and 13 in the return direction; the Hatia-Yesvantpur Bi-weekly Express scheduled to leave Katpadi on July 8 and 10; and the Yesvantpur-Hatia Bi-weekly Express scheduled to leave Katpadi on July 9. The Howrah-Chennai Central-Howrah Mails and the Howrah-Yesvantpur-Howrah Expresses (via Katpadi) will run through Kharagpur, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Titlagarh, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam from July 2 to 10, says a Southern Railway release.
