Three electrocuted

Coimbatore: Three persons who were working in a coir industry were electrocuted in the small hours of Friday.

According to police, the incident occurred when they were feeding the coir on a conveyor belt at a manufacturing unit at Seelakkampatti near Pollachi. The deceased were identified as Mani (40), Veeramani (37) and Muthulakshmi (35).

Case registered

The police have registered a case against the owner and supervisor of the unit.
