Plastic industry bandh on July 7

BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Plastic Association has said the industry will be put to serious crisis due to irregular supply of raw materials and increase in prices, if the authorities do not come to its rescue.

The association said the industry would a bandh on July 7 to urge the Union Government to take steps to protect the industry.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Vijayakumar V., governing council member of the association, said the industry had been affected due to rise in prices of crude oil and raw material. — Staff Reporter
