‘Ban private bulk trade near APMC’

Bangalore: The Bangalore Wholesale Food Grains and Pulses Merchants’ Association has demanded that the State Government should not permit Metro Cash and Carry (India) Private Ltd. or any other private player to trade in commodities notified under the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee Act within 25 km radius of the APMC yard at Yeshwanthpur in Bangalore. — Staff Reporter
