CHENNAI: The Mobile Store, an Essar Group venture, is expanding in a big way. According to Rajiv Agarwal, CEO and Director, the company was planning to reach a target of 2,500 stores in a couple of years. In the last 15 months the company had opened 925 outlets and the plan was to reach across 600 cities, by 2010, Mr. Agarwal said. The subscriber base was growing rapidly adding about 12.5 million subscribers a month, he said. The company was expecting to reach a turnover of Rs. 5,000 crore, in two years.
