Relay slogan shouting

PUDUKOTTAI: Members of the Tamil Nadu Thodakkapalli Aasiriyar Koottani staged a relay slogan shouting agitation near the old bus stand here on Saturday in support of their 30-point charter of demands.

Their demands included scrapping of the state-level seniority list and introduction of district-level list for the recruitment of teachers while filling vacant posts; scrapping of activity based learning (ABL) programme in schools; introduction of teacher-pupil ratio as 1:30.
