PANAJI: The Goa Government on Friday declared gram panchayat areas of industrial estates/zones and areas of villages surrounding such estates/zones, areas of municipal councils and corporations as scheduled areas. It has urged people to register their wells and borewells used for all purposes with the groundwater officer (North or South) within 30 days, according to a press release. — Special Correspondent
