Rourkela: A travelling ticket examiner (TTE), arrested for allegedly pushing a boy from a running train that led to loss of his limbs, was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days by a local court here on Saturday. TTE Navneet Mishra, who was interrogated along with four of his colleagues, had pleaded innocence. Mishra, who belongs to Uttar Pradesh, was arrested when the victim, Shankar identified him after being shown his photograph, M.K. Mahanta, GRP Inspector said. Shankar’s friend Rajesh, who was witness to the incident, had also identified the TTE, he said. – PTI
