Forward Bloc seeks inclusion in LDF

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A delegation of the All India Forward Bloc led by its national secretary G.Devarajan met the Left Democratic Front (LDF) convener Vaikkom Viswan in Kottayam on Saturday and demanded the party’s inclusion in the ruling front.
State general secretary of the party Kaipuzha V. Ram Mohan was a member of the delegation.
He said that the delegation told Mr. Viswam that the unity of Left and secular forces was inevitable at a time when fresh elections to the Lok Sabha were around the corner.
The convener reportedly undertook to present the demand of Forward Bloc at the next meeting of the ruling front.
