THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Railways will operate weekly special trains in the Hubli-Kochuveli-Hubli sector from July 8 to January1 next year to clear the extra rush of commuters. According to the Railways, the 0671 Hubli-Kochuveli special train will depart from Hubli on Tuesday at 1.45 p.m. to reach Kochuveli the next day at 4.30 p.m. For the return trip, the special train will depart from Kochuveli on Thursday at 12.45 noon to reach Hubli on Friday at 1.50 p.m. The days of operation of the weekly train from Hubli will be on July 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26; September 2, 9 16, 23, 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18, 25; December 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. The train will run from Kochuveli on July 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 21, 28; September 4, 11, 18, 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; November 6, 13, 20, 27; December 4, 11, 18, 25 and January 1. The train will stop at Varkala, Kollam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottappalam, Palakkad, Podanur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur, Banswadi, Yesvanthpur, Tumkur, Tiptur, Arsikere, Birur, Devangere, Harihar, Ranibennur and Haveri.
