Bounty: K. Rajaratnam Naidu, DIG, giving away TV sets and dish antennae to village sarpanches at a meeting at Bheemgal in Nizamabad district on Saturday. BHEEMGAL (NIZAMABAD Dt.): Deputy IG of Police K. Rajaratnam Naidu has said that the government accorded top priority to employment for youth and it was given much attention in the recent conference of Collectors and Superintendents of Police. Hard workHe exhorted the youth not to embrace extremism out of disappointment and despair and instead to grab every opportunity coming their way in the wake of the rapid technological and economic development. Saying that hard work had no substitute, he said that if the youth were prepared for it, they could get jobs as per their eligibilities and abilities. Dish antennaeMr. Rajaratnam Naidu said in order to create awareness among interior and remote rural masses over the speedy transformation of the economy and about fruits of development, the district police have decided to donate television sets and dish antennae to gram panchayat offices. Absence of roadsInviting the youth to bring their problems, if any, to the notice of the district police so that they could be resolved at the earliest, he assured them that the police would take up the demands for roads and transportation to interior parts with the authorities concerned. The village sarpanches, on the occasion, urged senior police authorities to look into the issues of absence of roads and lack of transport facilities. The Deputy IG and the Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar later distributed television sets and dish antennae to sarpanches of Hussain Nagar, Ravutla, Musheer Nagar, Uggampally, Kotanpally, Narsapur, Kothapally, Ameer Nagar, Basheerabag, Rahathnagar, Karepally, Pipri, Erugatla, Secunderapur and Wadi in the Armoor police sub-division. Some of these villages are located in the forest belt and were once infested by naxalism. The SP called upon the youth to walk in a right direction and not to get carried away with any “misinformation”. As regards the creation of employment for the rural unemployed, a meeting will be held in association with the district administration in the next 15 to 20 days, he said. Officer on Special Duty Surya Prakash Rao, Deputy SP Armoor Hathiram, Vice-Chairman District Cooperative Central Bank Padakanti Rajasekhar and Mandal Praja Parishad president Gopu Devidas attended the programme.
