U.K. Safety Award for BEL

New Delhi: The Ghaziabad unit of the public sector Bharat Electronics Limited has bagged the British Safety Council Award-2007.

This is the 17th time the unit has won this honour.

The unit, headed by Executive Director Anand Kumar, manufactures state-of-the-art radars and communication equipment, apart from other products, for the defence as well as the civilian sector.

Over the years the unit has also been conferred the Safety Award of the Union Labour Ministry and the American Safety Council.
