School students take out rally

TIRUPATI: In view of the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) a rally with the students of all local schools was organised here on Saturday. The itinerary for tomorrow is a ‘torch procession’ in which the TTD employees and the locals are expected to participate in the march that will cover the thoroughfares of Tirupati.
The rally which split into three batches began from the SVU’s NTR stadium and covered the entire town. Teachers of the schools also took part in the rally.
It was flagged off at the stadium by the TTD Trust Board Chairman, B. Karunakar Reddy with the Executive Officer, K.V. Ramanachary, Special Officer, A.V. Dharma Reddy and the Chief Vigilance and Security Officer, Ramana Kumar participating.
