PMK men held

Pattali Makkal Katchi party volunteers were taken into custody by the police when they attempted to block traffic here on Saturday in protest against the arrest of former Member of Legislative Assembly, Kaduvetti Guru.

A group led by the party’s State deputy general secretary, R. Senthilvel Thevar, gathered at Anna Nagar in front of a popular theatre complex for the agitation. They were later released in the evening.
