‘Resignations a conspiracy against TDP’

Special Correspondent

Kurnool: TDP district president Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy made light of the resignations of Bhuma Nagi Reddy and his wife, Shobha, on Saturday. He dismissed the contention that party is vertically split in Kurnool district.

He said only Mr. Nagi Reddy, Shobha and their supporters, A.V. Subbareddy, formally quit the party while the entire cadre is sailing with the party in Nandyal and Allagadda.

According to him, senior leaders of the party S.V. Subbareddy, K.E. Krishnamurthy, Meenakshi Naidu, B. Seshireddy and others are still in the party.

Mr. Rajasekhara Reddy described the resignations as a political conspiracy hatched at the highest level. The excuses offered by Mr. Nagi Reddy for quitting the party do not hold any ground, he said.

Mr. Nagireddy would burn his fingers badly for the political bungling, he said. Even in Allagadda, native of Mr. Nagi Reddy, the party is very strong even after his exit, he said.
