Two die

Bangalore: Two persons, who fell into a manhole while trying to clean it, in the Electronic City police limits died in hospital on Saturday.

According to the police, four persons employed by a private contractor were assigned the work. Two of them fell into the manhole when they suddenly inhaled poisonous gas while opening the cover. Two others, who made an attempt to save them, also fell into it. However, Krishnamurthy (30) and Ramesh (38), who were admitted to Victoria Hospital died.
