SANGAREDDY: In a review meeting convened to speed up construction of houses under the Indiramma housing Minister for Major Industries J.Geetha Reddy and Minister for Cooperation Mohd Fariduddin expressed their unhappiness at the slow pace of the programme. Armed with data that the district is far behind its counterparts in housing the Ministers lambasted the officers to complete all pending works within the third phase and also to pay pending bills to the beneficiaries who have completed all prerequisites. The DRDA and housing officers were told to finalise eligibility lists at the earliest. The district so far achieved only 40 per cent of its set target. Collector Piyush Kumar has assured the Ministers that grounding of all units would be completed by September. He said hat 230 Nirmiti centres would be opened all over the district to cater to the construction needs of the beneficiaries. . Legislators S.Ramalinga Reddy, Sunitha Laxma Reddy and JC Ramshankar Nayak were present.
