Fifty injured after bus falls in drain

Sangrur: Around 50 passengers, including more than 20 women and a dozen children, were injured on Sunday when the bus in which they were travelling fell in a drain on the Sangrur-Ludhiana highway.

The private bus was on way from Patran to Jalandhar, police said.

The bus reportedly lost control while overtaking another vehicle. The injured were rushed to the Malerkotla Civil Hospital.
