Naidu, KCR talk on phone
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu and the TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao are believed to have spoken over telephone late on Sunday night. TRS sources said they spoke for a few minutes. The report instantly touched off speculation of a possible tie-up between the two parties. Though not in so many words, TDP MP-elect from Warangal, E. Dayakar Rao, had recently thrown enough hints on such an alliance.
The reported conversation assumes significance in the context of many senior TDP leaders leaving the party and its important extended executive meeting at Khammam on July 13.
