LBS invites applications

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Poojappura, has invited applications for the finishing school for unemployed women graduates which it plans to set up shortly.

The application forms can be collected from the Institute office or can be downloaded from the LBS website www.lbsitw.ac.in. The principal of the Institute Dr. M. S. Rajasree said thatthe syllabus for this programme has been designed by IT professionals with the requirements of the IT / ITES industry in mind. Women graduates who have scored not less than 50 per cent marks for their degree examinations (45 per cent for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply. The entrance examination would be held from 10 a.m. on July 27 at the Institute.

The fee for the course is Rs. 3,000. Students from the SC /ST, OEC and SEBC categories are exempted from paying the fees if they produce their community and income certificates from a competent authority.
