GUNTUR: Tense moments were witnessed in front of the house of MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao on Sunday afternoon as cotton farmers and traders staged a sit-in for over four hours demanding clearance of dues from Jayalakshmi Spinning Mill. The farmers alleged that the mill management had not repaid dues in lieu of the purchases made for the last two years. They ended the protest after the MP assured them that their dues would be repaid on the coming Saturday at Chebrolu.
