Tutor shot dead

NEW DELHI: A 41-year-old private tutor was shot dead by some burglars at Rama Vihar here on Sunday.

According to the police, the burglars entered the house of Suresh Kumar in the early hours to commit robbery. Suresh and his wife Renu, a teacher, woke up on hearing the noise and grappled with the burglars. While Renu rushed to the balcony screaming for help, one of the burglars shot Suresh. He was declared brought dead at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.

A case has been registered at the Aman Vihar police station.
