Appeal to milk union

CPI city secretary K. Subba Raju took strong exception to the Krishna District Milk Producers’ Mutually Aided Co-op Union Limited’s plea that the hike of Rs. 1 in price of milk was inevitable. The union should bear the expenditure on collection of milk, if any. It is pertinent to recall that other private milk companies had not increased the rates, he said, and demanded that the old rate be continued.
