Man commits suicide in police station

Giridih: A man detained by police for moving suspiciously on the road allegedly committed suicide at Nimiaghat police station in Giridih district of Jharkhand, sources said on Monday.

Rajesh Rai, hailing from Barhora village in Dhanbad district, was spotted by police personnel moving suspiciously on the Grand Trunk Road and was brought to the Niniaghat police station on Sunday night, source said.

Rai went to the toilet in the police station early on Monday morning and allegedly committed suicide, they added.
