Madikeri: Two persons hailing from Kolar district were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with a KSRTC bus on the Madikeri-Sunticoppa road at Boikeri, near here, on Monday. The dead were identified as Tauseef (26) and Afzal (22). Tauseef, who was driving the car, died on the spot while Afzal , who was seriously injured ,died in the District Hospital here. Four others, who were in the rear seat of the car — Shahnawaz, Rafiq, Salim and Fayaz — escaped with minor injuries. They were returning to Kolar from Sullia, the police said. .
