Fined

BANGALORE: An executive engineer of the Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company (GESCOM) and a Tahsildar of Nagamangala taluk were fined by the State Information Commission for their failure to furnish details sought under the Right to Information Act. A press release said that the Executive Engineer Mahadevaswamy was fined Rs. 10,000 for not providing information sought by Syed Zulfikar of Bidar. V.R. Lokanath, Tahsildar t was fined Rs. 25,000 for not providing information sought by J. Vincent of Bangalore.
