Cloud-seeding to be launched in 10 days

ANANTAPUR: Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture and Rain Shadow Areas N. Raghuveera Reddy on Sunday stated that cloud-seeding operations would be launched in about 10 days in the State. Against calling tenders year after year for the purpose the government had finalised the tender for five years this year, the Minister said.

Talking to mediapersons , he said the tender for five years together would lessen the financial burden on the government and would also save time for the process of tendering. He, however, did not specify details of the tender finalised this year.
